Hurricane Irene GIVEAWAYS!!!

I put the hurricane on this giveaway to get everyone's attention!  Now, the real reason for the giveaway:
my 1 year anniversary on You Tube AND my 250 subscribers!!
Summer is my time to really create and upload videos. Now that my momentum is going, I hope to keep it up this school year and continue to upload almost as much as the summertime!!

I have learned so much from all my YTers and my projects show it. There is so much inspiration and friendship in this community of scrapbookers.  Your comments keep me going... Thank you so much!

Friday August 12, Continued...

I believe Tam sent these out already...31 of them! They turned out beautiful, with gorgeous hot pink lollipop flowers on each, 2 mini shots of Marilyn, movie tape, and damask background. The back features a pink library pocket to match. This holds the shower information as well as the bridal registry. Supposed to be a surprise but I think we sent one to Kaylan!!

OK...there's a reason why I haven't posted. We had 2 wonderful days with our Hailey. Spent it at 19 mile beach and crafting downstairs...she is my buddy down in my scraproom!

Then, we had our 34th wedding anniversary! We spent an overnight at the Mt. Washington Omni Resort. Great time and took lots of pics to follow this post.

Finally, I followed a UStream from Followthepapertrail, Laura. Made a beautiful napkin fold mini album using Butterfly Garden paper by Pink Paislee(?). I'll check on that. Really beautiful papers...may have been a tad thick for this album. Time will tell.  Totally awesome cover. My best so far!

So, here's to end of summer projects and squeezing out every last bit of summer sun, warmth, and corn!!

Happy Mail from 2-Part Swap

I have always admired Jenifer's work. She includes alot of stitching on her pages and it actually goes through 3 layers of chipboard and paper! Thanks so much Jen! I love having you as my Angel.

Happy Scrappin' Weekend to you All!

Summer Peppers!!

I picked a peck of peppers~  well, not really. But they are coming on fast at the garden. As well as cucumbers, beets, lettuce, and squash.  We're looking forward to supper tonight. Bill has his first ears of corn out at the stand. Always look forward to that!
As for the peppers, I made 18 of these little babies!  Here's to summer vegetables.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #30

Good day scrapbookers!
This is my first time entering a card for a challenge. I simply love My Favorite Things. This card features the stamp set, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and the medium scallop die. The flowers are from I Am Roses. This will be a card for my daughter-in-law for her birthday.

Tuesday Travel to Michael's

There's always a good day when Dave & I travel to Portsmouth. It was an overcast day that progressed to several heavy downpours. BUT Michael's is always a getaway. With coupons printed, we made our way thru the aisles. Shadow boxes 50% off! as well as frames. I got some needed scrapbooking stuff, of course. Martha Stewart punches, paper, doilies and bling. After treading thru the aisles several times (cause we didn't want to miss any good deals) we decided we were hungry. All the restaurants were full. We decided to go into Durham, past the big malls and had a bite. Margarita and all!!
All in all, a relaxing day. Groceries will probably be tomorrow. Anyhow, here's my haul for the day.

Sunny Sunday in NH!!

Hi fellow scrappers!  It's a beautiful day and I should be outside on the Lake. But, soon...very soon. I must tell you that I feel like I'm sending off my 1st born to camp!!! Just got my swap shabby chic album ready to be mailed. I added a very "sweet" tag to go with it. I hope my secret partner enjoys both!
Here's a pic of my tag.

Hope you're having a nice Sunday and enjoying the last of your weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by!   :0)   Aimee

Fairy Berry Box

Hi Everyone!  My gosh, it has been so hot, in the high 90's here in New Hampshire. My scraproom is cool so that is where I've spent the last 2 days.
I put up a tutorial featuring Stamper's Best stamps on YT and he is my completed project. It is super pretty and was fun to create.  I was looking at this blackberry container after breakfast yesterday and I came up with the idea of a shadow box. The rest developed as I went along. I featured 2 stamp sets from Stamper's Best and HAD to include this fairy!

I'll try to include the complete tutorial below.
Enjoy, and have a creative and fun weekend!

Mid July Already??

I'm just beginning to relax and now I realize that it's mid-July!
I hope to get the most out of each day. I am getting up earlier this summer than last. Up by 6-7:00 am.
It's one of my favorite times of day.
Today, I put the pictures in Ella's album. I had so many pictures that I really had to
decide on the best ones to include. This album will be on display for her 2nd birthday party on Sunday, the 17th.

We got our first zucchini (of many more, I'm sure!) today and I'm trying a new recipe for stuffing it. Also our first beets of the season...

Who will get the Mini??

Good morning friends and fellow scrappers!

Just finished my shabby chic mini from the 2-part secret swap. I am so excited to send it out and receive my surprise mini!  Here are some pics.

There are a few more pages which aren't shown here.
I also got all my Stamper's Best stamps mounted and cut out. Now it's time for another tutorial project.
Here's to a wonderful rest of the week, everyone!

Fuji Freedom!

I know... it's a sappy title. I have a thing for 1st letter sounds sounding alike...must be the elementary teacher in me! But, anyways, I had a trek on my Fuji for the first time today to collect the mail out at 109. The air was dry, cool, and almost like Sept. weather...perfect for a ride! What freedom!
No sore butt yet.
I got a good start on my swap mini album. I'll show a sneak peek but the photos do NOT do it justice!
I've found that my best creative time is from 8-11:00 in the morning. What luxury!!!

Mid July Already??

Just beginning to relax into my summer and I just realized it's mid-July! The garden is coming along fine and I'm including pictures of our first zucchini (stuffed) and our first beets (w/olive oil and wine vinegar).  Lettuce is coming out of our ears and trying to invent new ways to eat lettuce!!
I put pictures into Ella's 1st birthday album. It will be on display for her 2nd birthday here this Sunday. There were so many good pictures it was difficult to choose the best 12.
Here's to happy, productive, relaxing, summer days.  Ahh.

Philly was Phun!!!

Had an overdose of technology at the ISTE Conference! What a blast! This place was huge and I learned so much. iPad and laptop in hand or in my backpack all of the time. Phone in pocket texting continually as to where to meet up for lunch or workshop. We met as a group every evening @5:30 to de-brief. All 16 of us.
I have a new respect for my principal. He was great, watched out over us and was completely professional but...also partied until 3! It was all ok.
Learned that many of my teachers are partyers. Out til 3 am. every night. I made it once just to say I did it.

Loved the Reading Market and the Amish pretzels, rice cake machine, honey peanut butter, vegetables, bread, cajun food, and all the people. Great people watching place! Oh, and the lines for the Philly cheesesteaks!

I do want to say that I've been away from scrapbooking since Memorial day...over a month. I've got some materials in the mail for a 2-part swap so I'll get busy soon. Also put up some more videos.

We are leaving for Pittsburg, NH this Monday, July 4th. So...the scrapbooking will have to wait. It will be completely relaxing since no cell phones or any technology. I'll have to plan my mini album for the swap.
This was my first relaxation day on the dock. Packing up boat, food, supplies tomorrow.

Until then, enjoy your summer saturday.

OMGdoubleHKP!!

One more workshop day tomorrow then... school's out for summer!!
Can't wait to have time to create again!  I apologize to you that I have not been posting for awhile and have not kept up to date!
I must say, I've been extremely busy. The end of the school year is crazy busy - then all of a sudden...POOF! All the craziness is OVER!
I won't be completely relaxed yet, though. I am heading to Philly this Saturday for several days. It is for the ISTE (technology) 2011 Convention. Should be a lot of fun and I'm hoping to post some pics for you. Plus, I'll get lots of tech motivation to try out some new "techy" things.

Over the 4th, Dave and I will be heading to Pittsburg along w/Tam and Chris. Lopstick again and in the same house we stayed at in February. Otter Landing. Beautiful spot right on the Lake. Should be fun  with Ella loving the water so much. No cell phones, computers, etc. Just books. Now that should be relaxing.

I will be posting pics of my new yard sale finds for my scraproom. I am beginning to move my storage up towards the ceiling. Does that say anything about this beautiful, compulsive, hoarding, hobby that we have?? I also hope to find a few wooden tables to replace my plastic Rubbermaid tables. That will help make the room look really nice.

So, here's to you and yours... Summer is here and time to put your feet up and enjoy! Whether it be fun in the sun or a few uninterrupted hours at your scrap table  ;0)

Memorable Memorial Day...

What a great weekend we had. The weather fully cooperated today and was sunny and breezy. The sailboat went out for her first sail of the season. I stayed back since Ella was in taking a nap.
Jumped into the lake twice...the water pretty chilly! But warmed up quick since the air was up into the 80's.
Took Ella over to Tuftonboro Central School playground. She had a great time. After we went to Spider Web again for more flowers. Oh, my aching back and legs from bending all weekend. Most of the flowers are in including most of the pots and herbs. Also, the vegetable garden is in. Have to water, water, water for now, stopping by after school each day.

Almost the weekend!

Looking forward to some nice weather after 2-3 weeks of gloomy, rainy weather. The CF walk is on Sunday and I believe it will be sunny and in the 70's.  Just set up my new pink shelving in my scraproom. More room! I just took a few pics of Ella's mini purse and finished her 1st birthday album. Now I've got to put the pictures in. Maybe tomorrow night.
